Woman in Black 2 review

Although this movie starts out slow it becomes more entertaining over time. It wasn't the best horror movie I've seen but its also not the worst. The movie is rated pg13 and doesn't cuss ounce proving cussing doesn't make a good movie.

The movie is based in England during the second world war. The main character Eve takes some kids whose parents can't escape to the country side. They stay at an old broken down house far away from everything but an airfield. They later on became aware there was a paranormal presence in the house. They later fled to the airfield and waited for transportation home. This is when Eve must confront the ghost to save one of the children. Eve and the child show up at an apartment and it looks like Eve has adopted the child.

The movie uses good historical facts about the time period and it was used well to help build the story. It never gives up on the suspense keeping you always ready to get a jump scare. The audience can often be found screaming at these scares.

However the story can be a little slow in the beginning. The movie leaves little time to take a break, that could also be a good thing though. The movie lacks plot twists and is some what predictable. This movie has a minimal amount of faults.

Overall this movie is wonderful and keeps the audience on the edges of their seats. If another movie comes out of the series it would be a good late night showing. I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars.
